Memorial Day has arrived, and whether you're looking to grab some last-minute refreshments and snacks for a gathering or grab a bite to eat, consumers will have plenty of shopping and dining options on Monday.
Most national retailers, grocery stores and restaurant chains will be open on Memorial Day, however banks and post offices will be closed. The stock market will also be closed since Memorial Day is a federal holiday.
Memorial Day is a USPS holiday, according to the agency's website, meaning mail will not be delivered and post offices will be closed for retail transactions on May 25.
UPS and FedEx pickup and delivery services will not be available on Memorial Day. UPS Store locations may be closed, according the company's website, and FedEx Office hours will also be modified.
Government offices (DMV, libraries, courthouses) closed as well.
Costco warehouses stores are closed also.
