A Zimmerman man was among the five Minnesota men charged with sexually exploiting a 14-year-old runaway girl.
Jesse Jalon Suiter, 20, of Zimmerman and the other four suspects were charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office release on July 28, the teen went missing on June 13 and was found two days later in Minneapolis, leading to a month-long human trafficking investigation that identified the suspects through victim interviews, digital forensic examinations, search warrants and social media records.
Police said the men were not connected to each other and had met the victim through online platforms.
Anyone with information about child exploitation or suspected human trafficking is being asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 651-430-7825.
