Metro Mobility riders fear upcoming service changes could affect their ability to get to work, school and medical appointments, even as the Metropolitan Council said the adjustments are routine and tied to regular bus route updates.
Beginning July 1, Metro Mobility will shift its service hours and coverage areas to match changes made over the past year to Metro Transit bus routes. The agency is required under federal law to provide paratransit service within three-fourths of a mile of an all‑day bus or train route.
Metro Mobility provides about two million rides each year.
Carlson said riders can check updated service hours by calling customer service at 651‑602‑1111.
