Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara is no longer as the head of the police department.

His office has since accepted a resignation from O'Hara after he had been informed he would face discipline, which included the potential of being discharged.

This stems from two investigations done by Forsgren Fisher McCalmont DeMarea Tysver LLP. The first, Frey said, began when a city employee anonymously reported that O'Hara had engaged in sexual relationships with city employees. That accusation, the Forsgren found, was not substantiated.

Assistant Minneapolis Police Chief Katie Blackwell would step into the role.
