Two members currently on the Twins roster will be heading away from the team, while two others will take their place.
Bailey Ober will be headed to the 15-day injured list due to elbow inflammation in his throwing arm. The righty has gone 6-3 with a 4.59 ERA this season, with 18 walks, 46 strikeouts, and a .243 opponent batting average in 12 starts.
The Brooklyn Park native was recalled to the Twins on Saturday, where he pitched the final two innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates, allowing one hit, three walks and striking out one in a 10-9 loss.
Travis Adams has been recalled from St. Paul. Adams has already made multiple appearances for the Twins this year in seven games. So far, he has allowed eight runs in 10 innings pitched with 5 walks, 12 strikeouts, and a .244 opponent batting average.
Mike Paredes will be joining the Twins for the first time ever as he looks to make his major league debut. The 25-year-old has split this season between St. Paul and Double-A Wichita, going 3-2 with a 4.44 ERA and recording nine walks, 54 strikeouts, and a .258 opponent batting average.
Paredes was selected by the Twins in the 18th round of the 2021 first-year player draft out of San Diego State University and has spent parts of six seasons in the Twins minor league system.
