President Donald Trump said Monday he wants to temporarily suspend the federal gas tax as prices soar due to the war in Iran.

Prices would drop by 18 cents per gallon for regular gas if the federal gas tax were suspended. Lifting the tax would require congressional approval.

Some drivers say lifting the tax would help, but others say it�s not enough.
