Minneapolis Police are searching for a suspect after three men suffered gunshot wounds near the University of Minnesota.

The shooting occurred around 12:25 a.m. Monday on University Avenue Northeast between East Hennepin Avenue and First Avenue Northeast. Officers found a man with life-threatening gunshot wounds at the scene and transported him to the hospital.

Two men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds arrived at Hennepin Healthcare 10 minutes after the shooting was reported.

Minneapolis police stated that 911 callers heard multiple rounds of gunfire and saw several people running from the area.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
