A suspected mail thief was arrested again on Thursday after St. Cloud Police said they found evidence he was caught on video stealing more mail and packages.
On Thursday, St. Cloud Police said they arrested Joshua Richard Keller, 39, a St. Cloud resident, after he was allegedly caught on video stealing mail that did not belong to him.
According to the police, officers were called to a house where a homeowner said she discovered a number of packages had been left at her address that did not belong to her. She also said that a package delivered to her home could not be found.
Upon reviewing surveillance video in the area, officers said they found Keller had taken the package. He was later found by police as he was in the possession of a large amount of mail and packages and arrested.
Keller was already facing felony mail theft charges for a prior incident in St. Cloud.
On April 22, the police said Keller was arrested for felony mail theft, at the time claiming he was a St. Cloud Police Officer, which the department denies.
Keller was charged with felony mail theft and a misdemeanor impersonating and officer charge for that incident.
Police said they believe Keller was taking packages from areas between 5th Avenue South and 9th Avenue South from 4th Street South to University Drive South.
?Residents who are missing mail and believe it may have been taken should contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200.
