Kyle Skow, a 39-year-old man from St. Augusta, was arrested and charged with 20 felony counts related to the solicitation of children for sexual acts. The case unfolded after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted authorities in December 2024, linking Skow to suspicious activity on Snapchat.

Investigators discovered that Skow used multiple Snapchat accounts tied to his internet address to communicate with children aged between nine and fourteen. A search of his home uncovered bed sheets and clothing matching those seen in videos he allegedly sent. Further examination of his tablet revealed thousands of chat logs, including over a hundred clear instances of solicitation. The victims were traced to several countries, including Norway, Mexico, France, Jamaica, and the United States.

Authorities also found approximately 1,200 images of child sexual abuse material on Skow's devices. He was taken into custody on September 11 and booked into Stearns County Jail. Skow is scheduled to appear in court again on September 21 as the investigation continues.
