A 9-year-old girl was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after an ATV crash on Thursday night.

Acorrding to Hibbing Police that a man was operating the ATV near Carey Lake Road when he lost control and struck an object. The driver and the two young girls on board were ejected from the ATV.

The 9-year-old is facing life-threatening injuries and the 4-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators say they don’t believe that alcohol contributed to the crash. The driver was not treated for injuries.
