A man is dead after a crash on Highway 68 in Lyon County on Friday afternoon.

A 2018 GMC Terrain and a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette were traveling eastbound on Highway 68 when the two vehicles collided near Westernheim Township.

The driver of the Chevrolet Corvette, a 76-year-old man from Minneota, died in the crash.

A 21-year-old woman from Echo, who was driving the SUV, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, officials note. According to the report, airbags deployed only in the SUV.
