On July 1st the city of Crystal Police Officers attempted stop a vehicle wanted in relation to a burglary and weapons related offenses in another jurisdiction.

The vehicle fled and officers initiated a pursuit. During the pursuit the occupants of the vehicle threw a flamethrower out the window towards the pursuing squads.

Officers were able to disable the fleeing vehicle, and several occupants were taken into custody.

During a search of the vehicle officers located several weapons, including a firearm, over 100 grams of marijuana, and fentanyl.

Several occupants were taken to Hennepin County Jail for warrants and a number of additional charges. Because of the great work of the officers, no officers or suspects were injured in this incident and several suspects were taken to jail.
