A man is dead in Minneapolis after police were called to a shooting near East 19th Street and Chicago Avenue.

Minneapolis police officers were called to the scene in the Ventura Village neighborhood at around 11 a.m. Wednesday and found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound outside a building.

An ambulance took the man to a hospital. However, despite aid from officers and medics, he later died at the hospital.

No arrests have been announced at this time, and the victim hasn’t yet been publicly identified.
