According to Minneapolis police they are still calculating how many cars have been hit after the damage continued through the weekend and into Monday morning.

Minneapolis police said at least 87 windows were smashed in Friday’s overnight spree. at least 10 more damaged vehicles on Saturday and saw more broken windows early Monday morning on Marshall Street.

Investigators are actively pursuing leads and reviewing surveillance video, witness information, suspect and vehicle descriptions, and other available evidence to identify those responsible and determine whether suspects are connected to multiple incidents.

We urge the public to report suspicious or criminal activity immediately whenever it occurs. If you witness someone breaking into or damaging a vehicle, call 911 immediately. Helpful information includes descriptions of the individuals involved, descriptions and license plates of associated vehicles, and the location or direction of travel. Prompt reporting can help officers respond quickly, identify suspects and connect related incidents.
