According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a shooting around 10:30 p.m. near the 2000 block of 3rd Avenue South. Officers found a man in his 30s inside a vehicle with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Police said first responders provided life-saving efforts, but the man died at the scene. As of Saturday, police have not released his name.
The Minneapolis Police Department said officers secured and canvassed the area. MPD forensic scientists also processed the scene and collected evidence.
Homicide investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting. Police said there have been no arrests.
