Blake Beatnik Le Saint, a 36-year-old swim instructor from Otsego, who runs a swim school for children with special needs, pleaded guilty to sending thousands of explicit texts, videos, and photos to a 15-year-old girl. The troubling messages were sent over several months, from August 2025 through March 2026.

Le Saint used both his real name and a fake identity, “Taylor,” to communicate with the girl, who had been taking swimming lessons from him since 2021. The criminal complaint reveals that he also offered her money in exchange for nude photos and asked her to delete the text threads after sending the explicit material.

The girl’s parents discovered the messages recently and reported them to the police on April 15. They mentioned that they had informed Le Saint about their daughter’s age before and noted that he had given their daughter gifts for babysitting his child.

Le Saint was charged with two felony counts of distributing sexual material electronically involving a child, each carrying a potential sentence of up to five years in prison and fines up to $10,000. On September 2, he pleaded guilty to one charge, and he is scheduled to be sentenced on November 6. The other charge is expected to be dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

This case highlights the dangers that can arise even in trusted environments and the importance of vigilance by parents and communities to protect children.
