St. Paul Police are investigating an early morning shooting on Sunday, after one person was shot in the leg.

The shooting was reported at 4:14 a.m., according to the police, in the 600th block of Iglehart.

The officers said they found a man who had been shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police say they are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
